News from the July Cubcast

Recommended Posts

New Summertime pack award pins - should be available in August, are age

specific - Orange for Tigers, Red for Wolves, etc. They match the colors on the

neckerchief slides.

"Trained" status now requires Fast start, Youth Protection, Position

Specific and New Leader Essentials (not new I know, but some may not know it).

Some recruiting tips, including some ideas for those of us with limited

access to your school. Mention of an "On Target" disc that can be distributed.

(Anybody know what this is?)

I know this will probably be considered silly but considering we won't get the new summertime pins till probably next year,

How does a boy earn the "Tiger Cub" summertime award? If he goes into the first grade in August/September and graduates to Wolf Den in May/June?

Is this in prep for adding the kindergarden kids so as to add more income?

Curious.

A boy who is registered as a Tiger Cub in the Spring, after his graduation from kindergarten, can earn the Summertime Award pin, by attending a summer event with his new Pack in June, July and August.

If the Pack does not register Tigers until Fall, they can not earn a Summertime Award as a Tiger.
