It seems that the letter that is supposed to be going out from National is still sitting on someones desk waiting for a signature. A month after the cars disapeared and still no begining to the search on the part of national. This is a biggish council with lots of people moving around in the main office. I'd bet someone went if it was as well represented as you described, but either I'm missing the right person to ask, or something. Link to post Share on other sites

That someone should have been your SE with a small group with him. The memo about the race (before it happened) inviting councils to participate was addressed to the Scout Exec.
