shortridge 184
Greetings - I'm trying to assemble information on recently-closed or up-for-sale Scout camps. I've found a few scattered examples (big ones including Owasippe, Avery Hand, Onway) but was wondering if anyone knew of a list - even for a starting point - or if we could assemble one here. I'm mainly looking for camps closed within about the last five years. Please PM me with any questions. Thanks...

prof 58
Camp Bradford (crossroads of America council) was leased from Indiana University and used as a weekend/training camp for decades. My understanding is that the lease was discontinued around 2000 or 2001. Too bad. It was a great facility! One of CAC's best in terms of natural beauty!
kraut-60 10
Two Bear Scout Reservation. Was located near Weyerhauser Wisconsin. I believe its last season as a Scout camp was 1983. It was originally the Scout camp for the Stateline Council which merged with the Indian Trails Council in 1965 to become the Sinnissippi Council, which merged with Four Lakes Council to become Glaciers Edge in 2005.
