Kewlio

Recommended Posts

Eamonn Eamonn Eamonn, what are we going to do with you Dude? Kewlio is a form of the word kewl, which is the phonetic spelling of the word Cool, which as most any hipster knows, means "alright!", or saying cool means the person is "down with that" topic.

What I meant was it's very nice for the folks at Scouter.com to provide us with an equipment forum based on user requests. Ergo Kewlio!(This message has been edited by OldGreyEagle)

Thanks for the "Heads Up"

I gave it the old GOOGLE search and found a low cost place for Web Sites in the UK and a site with jokes that Sunday School kids tell.

I now have a lot of new jokes to tell until Boy's Life Think and Grin hits the mail box.

Could be that my cool Dude image needs work.

My son's newest replacement for "kewl" is tight. When he sees something that impresses him, he says, "awww, TIIIIGHT". Of course, my generation had groovy and boss.

In my daz it was:

Neat or Neatamundo.

But then I'm still so young.

I was actually thinking that OGE was really "with it" and "kewl" until he said "which as most any hipster knows".

I'm pretty sure "hipster" was out of vogue before disco was "in".

Another current favorite of the senior Webelos is "Sweet". Everything (except girls and food) seems to be "Sweet".

Marty

Give'em a few years and the ladies will be SWEET.

A few more and they will be trying to lose a few pounds from too many sweets.

Thinking back when I was young "Smashing" was one of the words. We had a smashing time. I still do.

Eamonn
