mmhardy 10
My son is on staff at NT and is going through the initial training. He mentioned that on Saturday they begin several days of "Swamper Training" what is that about?
Mooseman 10
Swamper training is the term used for staff training. The "swamper trip" is a trip halfway through training where staff go on a 4 to 5 day training canoe trip.
DeanRx 69
I'm jealous !!! Wish I could be on staff at NT !! Haven't been there since I was 15, but if I could get out of that pesky go-to-work-to-pay-the-mortgage-and-buy-food-and-diapers rut I'm in... I'd be there for the summer. Hope he has a BLAST !
