clydesdale115 10 Posted July 26, 2009 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Our council hasn't offered BS camp in 3 or 4 years now *sigh* But our troop has always liked to go to June and July camps anyway. So we try out different camps most years, returning occasionally to our favorites. I appreciate ALL these posts about what makes a good camp. The BOYS might have a different list altogether. One thing that is a thorn in our SM's side is a camp that doesn't have its act together on MB paperwork. It seems to be a real sticking point with him - he will not return to a camp that has trouble with documenting MB req. check-offs. clyde Link to post Share on other sites

Our council's camp offers a program for Scouts over 14 which includes kayaking, tubing, and scuba. Some of our Scouts have attended this program every year and they all think it's great!
