yoyuyo 10 Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 I am looking for a good spot for winter camping in the Sierras. Last year, we went for a few days to area around Bridgeport, CA and we absolutely loved it. The scenery was incredible, but the drive time from San Francisco was just too long (especially on the way back from Reno). Would anybody know about a good spot on the Western Side of the range that is not frequently visited with good scenery. We will have 3-4 days. thanks for help. Link to post Share on other sites

Pick up a Campfire permit at the CDF station in Pinecrest (can't miss it)....again carry chains.. Link to post Share on other sites
