ginahedges 10
We have scouts that have completed their NRA certification. The received their basic practical rockers. Somewhere back a year or so ago I remember hearing they can wear this on their uniform and I believe on their shoulder? Has anyone heard if this is true? Our scoutmaster had said something about it when he went for his instructor training.
scoutldr 722
Welcome, gina. To answer your question, I don't think so. NRA patches can be worn on non-uniform jackets, or MAYBE as a temporary patch on the right pocket (temporary patches can be permanent if you want). Our guidance document is the "Uniform and Insignia Guide" found at http://www.scouting.org/media/insigniaguide.aspx
scottteng 11
NRA marksmanship medals may be worn on a uniform.
FScouter 24
NRA medals are not listed in the Insignia Guide as appropriate for wear on the BSA uniform.
