Camping MB Conservation Project

Leaders in our troop were discussing the nature of the conservation project for Camping MB. Does this project need to be done in the context of a camping trip? If not, does it at least need to be done on land that is used for camping? What do you see as the intent of this project?

The requirement reads: c. Perform a conservation project approved by the landowner or land managing agency.

 

Now, it doesn't explicitly say while on a campout, but that is the way we read it since it states with the approval of the landowner or land managing agency. The intent, I believe, is to help the boys learn to take care of the land and environment so that others may continue to enjoy.
