Then if I have to, I'll spin off a new thread. CNY, when you start Venturing you earn a Bronze Award. Does this first BA count for the Gold requirement (double dipping), or do you need to earn one of the other BA's for your GA? Link to post Share on other sites
CNYScouter 46 Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 Yes, the first Bronze award counts towards the Gold Award. One of the requirements to earn the Gold Award is to earn any one of the Bronze Award, so it is not double dipping. To simplify these awards: A Venturer would earn a Bronze Award Gold Award = Bronze + other requirements Silver Award = Gold Award + other requirements To earn the Silver award a Venturer would only have to earn one Bronze Award. They can also use this same Bronze award towards a higher award. So, if a venturer earns the Outdoor Bronze it can be used for both the Gold Award and the Ranger Award.(This message has been edited by CNYScouter) Link to post Share on other sites
