Kaji 11 Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Never done it myself, but the gist of it is that you build a box, then cut sections out on one side for each portion. Next you lift this side off the box, and glue sections between the sections you cut yout to shield each from the other sections' lights. Then inside the rest of the box you place a group of light fixtures, and run the wires to a separate box (although I guess you could build it with switches right on the back of the box if you wanted). Then you take colored cellophane and glue that in the appropriate sections. Paint the details in black on the cellophane afterward and all that's left is to put the bulbs in and put the faceplate you created back on. Set to go from there! Link to post Share on other sites
