Something different... An inflatable BB-gun shooting range used by the Black Hills Area Council of Boy Scouts to teach gun safety became the apparent target of thieves late Tuesday night or early Wednesday while it was parked next to the Council’s offices on North Street. A lock on the trailer was broken and a large bag containing the shooting range and a tote containing other accessories, along with supplies of BBs and paper targets, were missing. Interesting observation from the uniform checklist Here is the text in question: "Male Cub Scout and Boy Scout leaders wear the official pants or the official uniform shorts or pants with no cuffs." So, as I read and reread this sentence, it seems that one can wear: Official Pants Official Shorts Any pants with no cuffs Since I never cuff my jeans, I think that wearing jeans is perfectly acceptable. Oh also, note that just showing up is worth 15 points!

So I'm spinning off that "Big Question" thread about some BoR using a "trick question" about wearing your uniform in school. Seems that it was isolated to one unit, and most of us agree that it was a good thing that other BoRs didn't use it. Anyway the discussion turned to taking flack for wearing your uniform, something I never had a problem with, but others had.
