This may sound arrogant, but it is not my intention. I am ready to start my son in a Cub Scout pack. I will be very picky as to which pack gets our involvement. I have been out of scouting for a while, but back in the day was quite active. And I plan on being very active again. I am looking at this much like I would apply for a job. Hi folks. I began in Scouting in the south suburbs of Chicago in 1978, when I met a girl whose brothers and dad were active in a local troop. I was 18 years old, so became an assistant scoutmaster. Soon, my girlfriend and I became involved in Explorers, and I became the Post president. Worked at summer camp as the Aquatic Director in 1980.
