From marines at boot camp “remembering all those orienteering lessons that I had tried to forget” during their night in the crucible to veterans who told me about how calm and fearless Eagle Scouts were when their platoon had to bivouac … I’ve heard this story multiple times in multiple ways from multiple people.

In my opinion, BSA has always had difficulty expressing what they mean in plain English. I once volunteered to be a proofreader for National, since I had a career in writing, reading and interpreting Federal safety and health regulations and technical policy. Got no response.

Did you read the whole sentence? It is like a Franken sentence. It is an option for the required uniform. What does they mean?
