  1. Our troop is in the midst of planning a western HA trip including Yellowstone right now. The permit process has changed to a lottery this year, so we're not sure how things are going to shake out. Basically, you pay $10 to get a spot in the lottery, and you might get a chance at a permit. We've got a short backpacking segment in Yellowstone, but we're trying to come up with Plan A, B, C, D, and E just in case sites are booked before we can get in the system to get them. We've been scrambling to get other campsites also. The council that runs Camp Buffalo Bill is short staffed & in the

  2. What type of Hawk? Any impact between them? Sounds like not. Good thing. The pup jumped at the bird? Trying to get the full image. We live several houses away from about 250 acres of woods, then another similarly-sized tract over a two lane road. We have a small strip of it behind the house. Very small, but there is a creek which is attractive to all. We've had a pair of Barred Owls (which are so fun because they are often out in daylight) and pair of Red Tails since we moved in. 6. Nothing in any proposed YP protocol would prevent the ascent of adult leaders with a lack of compassion toward autistic children. There’s no national registry of people who disregard disabled kids.

  8. It started with me knocking over something and it wouldn't stay when I put it back up. I still need to clean out the detached garage, but I'm waiting on my shed to be built - since April. Got hit by a drunk driver in 2019 - SUV vs motorcycle. Header pipe impaled my left midfoot. My wife hates camping and isn't a big fan of road trips either. We are taking a different route of living in the country and trying to create insulation around us. Relying on our jobs to fund that. Never thought about the airBNB thing. I have trust issues.
