  1. This weekend we are having a campout just for our Webelos / AOL Scouts. Our Unit has our own meeting place which makes life easier in many many ways. We are holding the campout there. The Scouts, this weekend, will be practicing the Patrol Method. They have planned their menus, generated a shopping list, and will be preparing and cooking all their meals. There will be Scouts there from the Troop as well. ALL Scouts will get an opportunity to raise and lower the Flag as part of a color guard. They will work on fire building again. They will work on knots again, We a

  2. The judge said that since AIS clients are represented by 3 firms and those firms are not aligned, it gives greater weight to the point that the TCC should not have gotten involved. I expect if TK couldn't get a forum to reach coalition members of AIS, that could have been brought up to the court. In terms of AIS TK & KR were both in the hearing, their lawyers spoke but they didn't. AVA was completely missing. I am curious if Omni is releasing the results of the vote or just the vote totals. 3. The words don't support your interpretation. The first sentence is talking about an activity ... singular ... a camp out, a trip, a high adventure .... Any activity that is 72 hours or more. The second sentence ... "not consecutive" ... exists so that adults don't game the system and leave the camp for two days and then return. If the adult comes and goes from the activity, it's the cumulative time. I've seen zero people apply this across separate different camp outs. I've seen zero people that include each troop meeting to this. This only applies activities that are at least 7

  4. What visible assets do you think the average pack/troop has, that they would 'hide in an instant'? Our pack assets really only consist of a pack flag and an American flag. The troop has the same by way of flags, along with 8 or 9 tents and several patrol boxes filled with yard sale cooking gear. Most of what we camp with is provided by the individual scouts. While I know that there are troops with a lot of high end gear, I feel safe in the thought that the average pack or troop could not raise more than a few hundred dollars, if that, even if they liquidated everything they own.

  5. Unless I misunderstood something, we (UMC units) must still file the re-charter paperwork as we normally do, and must pay the registration fees for each Scout and adult leader. What we do not do is pay the $75 Charter Org fee until at least March 31, provided UMC continues as a Charter Org, in which case we would have to do so through what ever CO we may be able to find. In that case we would not see a surge of payments in April 2022.
