    • I think @rickmay might be referring to a "spoof" merit badge.  Maybe something like these:

[spoof] Scoutmaster Merit Badge [spoof] Exhausted Scoutmaster Merit Badge   Scoutmasters should be wearing the Scoutmaster badge of office:

    • They absolutely have the power to say no.  The have little power to enforce.   Just be considerate.  Support your council by selling popcorn and friends of scouting.  Beyond that, I wouldn't ask about other fundraisers.  Focus on making your unit provide the best scouting program.  The rest is noise.
    • I have never heard of a "Scoutmaster merit badge." Do you perhaps refer to the badge of office, worn on the left sleeve?
    • Yes, the new program is moving forward and we are getting more and more information almost weekly at this point. It looks like it will be a WONDERFUL program and it fully incorporates whatever programs each child wants to involve in their personal development, whether Scouts, orchestra, sports, dance, art, or whatever - this will be a monumental change that will bless millions of youth the whole world over!
    • Our council camp is being very welcoming to the girls.  Already had individual shower stalls with real doors that locked and a private dressing area inside the stall. Only difference has been how provo campers are being handled.  So far the (very few) provo girls are being placed with girls troops who are at camp that week and who have offered to host them.   When our troop was at camp, the single provo girl stayed in the campsite with us and did everything with our troop.  This worked fine.
