    • Update Friday Aug 23, 2019:  After a century, I. Goldberg Army & Navy closed Friday. Back in the fifties, my Dad bought my camping gear there.   https://www.inquirer.com/business/i-goldberg-closes-for-good-army-navy-taps-20190823.html https://www.inquirer.com/business/i-goldberg-army-navy-philadelphia-business-closing-20190820.html
    • I have a temporary patch from 1981, still on one of my uniforms.  I was a new Webelos leader.  We had only one Webelos meeting  and went to the District Fall Camporee.  12 scouts and 11 adults.  It snowed that weekend.  We all received a patch, and II thought I really did something - taking the scouts out camping in the snow.   After talking to a girl scout leader in my subdivision, I thought, "I didn't do so much!"  The lady and another lady took 15, 3rd grade girl scouts out camping that same weekend by themselves!
    • It is a temporary patch, so it is worn on the right pocket.
    • my unit recently completed a historic trails activity and earned a patch in the process. can it go on the uniform, and, if so where? I think it can go above the bsa-name patch on the uniform, right?
    • MattR, Thank you for your kind words.
