kraut-60 10
Who should retain the blue card for a partially completed MB? The Scout applying for the MB or the SM or Adv.Chair from the TC?
John-in-KC 311
In a perfect world, the Scout. When I was an advancement coordinator, I made copies of partials, loaded the data into Troopmaster, and the Scout kept his. That way, I could see trendlines developing, and advocate kids get together to get the job done.
TheScout 10
The scout, so he knows what he has to finish and can be responsible for his advancement.
Gold Winger 9
The Scout should. If he loses it, it becomes a life lesson in why he should hold onto things of importance.
evmori 11
Who's working on the merit badge? The Scout!
OldGreyEagle 5
Why would anybody give their partial blue card to an anonymous person who posts on Scouter.Com?
OldGrayOwl 10
Why would TheScout even WANT the blue cards???
Gold Winger 9
To sell them on ebay. Can you imagine the potential market for partially completed merit badges?
PeteM 10
The Scout (NOT TheScout) should keep HIS cards, after all, they are his cards. If the MBC from summer camp kept them, how could the Scout expect to get them back when the MBC goes back to college or wherever?
