Don't Canadian Scouts wear red uni shirts?

it certainly resembles the Canadian rover/scouter shirt however the buttons dont match the current uniform. the patches would be your best bet for learning about the shirt. either way its worth buying at that price.

Interesting; likely a shirt, as others noted, from another Scouting group outside the U.S. The one patch on the left pocket appears to say "Internacional jamboree", along with a location that I cannot make out. The left sleeve has what looks like an Irvine jamboree patch from 1953. Good luck; looks like it was a steal if the tag at the top is accurate.

European very possibly then; maybe France or Belgian. As noted, close ups of the patches could help. Might also search world scouting sites if interested enough.

MMX11 is 2012, and that seems to be the date on the International Jamboree patch. The older patch on the sleeve and what appears to be Cub advancement bead card on the pocket may indicate that someone just was putting scout stuff together to sell as a lot. There's a ton of stuff sold on E-Bay that it is obvious the seller has no idea what it means to BSA or any other organization. For example, anything with a fleur-de-lis is automatically BSA. It could be that some International contingent decided to go with a nicer shirt than some t-shirt for the activity wear.

Looks like it's probably Scouts Canada, here are some Scouts from Ontario at the Jamboree: http://www.flickr.com/photos/boyscou...ca/9296768276/
