Arsenal AK fundraiser for Las Vegas Council

Recommended Posts

"Arsenal Inc. proudly introduces the limited edition "Las Vegas" SAM7R Modern Sporting Rifle. Each rifle features a solid-silver, high-relief medallion embedded in the stock. This limited edition rifle celebrates Arsenal’s Las Vegas heritage and its support for the Las Vegas Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The Boy Scouts of America has introduced more youth to the sport of shooting than almost any organization. For over 100 years, the Boy Scouts have actively trained young shooters to respect and safely handle firearms. Arsenal recognizes that young people are the key to the future of shooting sports and the protection of our constitutional rights. As such, Arsenal supports organizations, such as the Boy Scouts, that introduce young people into the sport of shooting. In addition to being the title sponsor of the annual Las Vegas Area Council Sporting Clays event, Arsenal will donate $100 from the proceeds of every limited edition rifle sold to the Boy Scouts.

The SAM7R features Arsenal's exclusive forged then milled receiver, original Bulgarian hammer forged chrome lined barrel, 14x1mm left-hand muzzle threads, removable muzzle brake, bayonet lug, US made mil-spec polymer stock set with stainless heat shield, cleaning kit compartment, 800 meter adjustable rear sight leaf, side-mounted base rail for a scope mount. The limited edition “Las Vegas†SAM7R will be offered in three editions. All three editions are solid silver, each with its specialty coating:

It'll make it a great mantel piece. The ammunition is going to be like .22 rounds, if the WH gets its way. You can keep your guns, it's just that there won't be any ammunition available. That's the new strategy for politicians to take away our constitutional right to bear arms. You can own any number of guns you wish, you just won't have any ammunition to go with them.

Even if you make your own gunpowder, the sporting goods stores don't have percussion caps anymore.

It might be quite interesting to see the US second Revolution being fought with the old reliable Brown Bess. :)

Yes, it is good to be concerned about ammo availability whether due to consumer hoarding, government restriction (either ammo or bullet material), or plant consolidation. The British restricted and seized gunpowder, so our colonists bought from the French. Similarly for this Russian designed rifle (irony), its 7.62x39 ammo is commonly available worldwide and many reload.

I walked from buying an excellent Czech mauser which still had the lion crest because 8mm ammo was scarce. :(

Oh no second revolution, as we scouters are training the next better leaders now.

Mighty big magazine. Looks like at least a semi automatic. What would someone "hunt" with that?

I think in some states, you have to have a plug to reduce the magazine capacity for hunting.

Not that "shooting sports" are limited to hunting or that hunting is relevant to the Second Amendment.
