July 7, 2000 -A Neat Tip for the Summer Camper (Or his Mom!)
One thing our troop highly recommends is for the boys to pack each day's
clothes in a large (2 gallon) Ziplock bag. Each bag contains a pair of socks, underwear,
t-shirt, and shorts or pants. All a scout has to do is grab a new bag in the morning,
change his clothes when he gets up, and puts his "used" clothes in the empty
bag. This really works out well with our boys.
A hidden benefit is those soaking rains that always seem to happen at camp.... His
clothes stay dry!
