Have you been to the BSA lately?   When searching for Scouting information, the Boy Scouts of America web site is a MUST visit.

Cub Scout Fast Start   Thanks to Scouter Joan Redemann for mentioning the computer-based Cub Scout Fast Start Leader Training that is available on the National BSA web site.

Find out about all the BSA resources available for The Venturing Program .   In this section you will find information about what venturing is, the youth and adult venturing awards available, how to start a venture crew, program support rescources, and venturing activites.

The BSA describes the Guide to Safe Scouting as "A Unit Leaders Guide for Current Policies and Procedures to Safe Activities" and states its purpose: "To prepare adult leaders to conduct Scouting activities in a safe and prudent manner. "  Among the topics are: Camping, Aquatic Safety, First Aid, Winter Activities, Adult Leadership, and more.

With BSA's factsheets you can learn about Scouting's influence on government (Congress and Scouting),on Space Exploration, Conservation, and more.

After you browse the BSA Official Site, come back to SCOUTER and use our NetCompass to find more grassroots Scouting information.   Then, visit our Catalog for all the items you and your Scouts need to help get the most from your Scouting experience.
