I was my oldest son's Tiger Cub partner -G.H. - 2+yr., Eagle Scout

    My son joined -G.L. - 2+yr.,

I wanted my children involved in Scouting and wanted to be involved with them. -L.W. - 4 yr.

For 1 year I volunteered to help my son's Pack as their Public Relations Coordinator. I was then asked to be their CC and Charter Representative. I have held that position for about 3 years. -Michael Adam, 4 yr.

My stepson was in Cubs -M.S. 3 yr., Eagle Scout

My first time was with a friend with whom I had been in Scouting for 6 years. We were in our twenties. He was SM for a Troop in need of an adult to continue. As a Scout I had promised that I would try to repay all that was given to me by the adult Leaders in my Troop because I knew their direction and kindness would have a profound affect on my life. This was my first chance to keep that promise. Later, as a parent, I wanted my children to experience Scouting - sure that it would have positive affects, challenge them, and expose them to new things. -5yr Leader, Eagle Scout

    I love the program - R.J - 5 yr., Eagle Scout

My step-son was involved and as a child I did not have the chance to be a Scout. -C.C. - 5 yr.

My two sons joined Cub Scouts. Larry Fenter - 3 yr.

I learned a lot in Girl Scouts and wanted my sons to have the same experiences -Scouter366 - 4yr.

So my son would have a Scouting program to join. -Pamela McFarlin, CM - 3 yr.

I was called by my Church. -T.B. - 1 yr

I became involved with Scouting again when my son was old enough to join. - S.M. - 4 yr., Eagle Scout

My son joined as a Wolf and I volunteered as an ADL. -Mike Hoskins - 3 yr.

I had been a Scout and thought it was a good program. -Casey Harrigan - 3 yr.

My son joined and I wanted to participate as much as possible. -Vin Grimaldi - 1 yr

I became involved because of my son. -Dennis Rogers - 5 yr

I joined because our son is a Cub Scout -Tammy - 3 yr.

My folks were Leaders; so i did the same. -CR Ranes

My son & husband were in Scouting. After moving to a new area and attending School Night to sign up my son, I found out that the school did not have a Pack. My husband was out of town, so I told the man in charge that my husband would be the CM as he had been an Assistant in the Pack before. He told me the only way that he would be the CM is if I would get involved. I had no other choice because my son really wanted to be in Scouts. -Carolyn Lare - 4 yr.

Signed up as an Assistant DL when my son joined Cub Scouts at the 1996 School Night of Scouting. -Michael McClain - 3 yr.

I wanted to be involved with my kids (3 boys). I love kids and working with them. -5 yr Leader

I stayed in after I got my Eagle to continue helping boys. Why should the boys have all the fun? -Patrick Brenner - 5 yr.

To assist my son in Scouting -Tom - 5 yr.

My daughters wanted to join and the Troop needed a Leader. -Jamie morton - 3yr.
