Philmont Scout Ranch & High Adv. Base
Official Website from the BSA - Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America's premier high-adventure base, challenges Scouts and Venturers with more than 200 square miles of rugged New Mexico wilderness.
Philmont Scout Ranch & High Adv. Base
Philmont is a national camping area, owned and operated by the BSA. Philmont is large, comprising 137,493 acres or about 215 square miles of rugged mountain wilderness in the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rockies. Check out SCOUTER.com's Philmont Section.
CONQUISTADOR CO - Camp Jim Murray
Camp Jim Murray is located on the western edge of Hobbs, New Mexico next to the Hobbs Country Club golf course and the Lea County Airport. The camp serves as the Conquistador Council Training Camp. Hobbs is located on the New Mexico/Texas border.
CONQUISTADOR CO - Dowling Aquatic Base
Dowling Aquatic Base is located on the lower half of the Pecos River in Carlsbad, and is a wonderful site for water activities. Dowling is the only camp in New Mexico that is dedicated to the sole purpose of educating America's youth.
CONQUISTADOR CO - Wehinahpay Mtn. Camp
The Wehinahpay Mountain Camp is located in the beautiful Sacramento mountains of South Central New Mexico. This prime camping property is owned and operated on 320 acres by the Conquistador Council. The camp is surrounded by the Lincoln National Forest.
GREAT S.W. CO - Campbell Scout Ranch
Located in the Sandia Mountain Area east of Albuquerque on the Sandia Crest Road, the recently donated 40 acre camp is being developed for Cub Scout camping, training, and short-term camping. The camp is being developed in cooperation with the CCC,
GREAT S.W. CO -Chimayo Scout Reservation
Also known as Camp Frank Rand, the reservation is located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains approximately 45 minutes north of Santa Fe and 25 minutes east of Espanola. Elevation in camp is around 7,200 feet.
SOUTH PLAINS CO (TX) - Camp Tres Ritos
Merit badge sessions are held in the forest and along trails. The program emphasizes nature and outdoor activities and advancement programs because the site lends itself so well. Camp is near Philmont Scout Ranch.
SOUTH PLAINS CO (TX) - Pecos Packers
Pecos Packers is a High Adventure Program sponsored by the South Plains Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The program begins at the Tres Ritos Scout Camp in New Mexico (45 miles Northwest of Las Vegas, NM) and lasts one week.
YUCCA CO (TX) - Camp Dale Resler
Camp Dale Resler (CDR) is owned and operated by the Yucca Council & is located high in the Sacramento Mountains of the Lincoln National Forest, 1.5 miles East of Cloudcroft, NM. The camp is in a high mountain valley, 9.000 feet above sea level.
