Alaska Boy Scout Camps - ScoutCamp.org
This site gives details on all Alaska Boy Scout Camps including local weather forecasts, map coordinates, driving directions, and an opportunity for you to leave your own comments & reviews about the camps. Non BSA Camp sites are also listed.
GAC - Eagle River Camp
The George Parks Eagle River Scout Camp is located 22 miles north of Juneau on the coast. In operation since 1925, the campground terrain consists of forest & a large grassy wetland. The camp is accessible by boat or a 1.5 mile hike on an improved trail.
MSC - Camp Bronson
This is a Midnight Sun Council weekend camp near Nome Alaska.
MSC - Lost Lake Camp
Lost Lake Scout Camp is made up of 450 acres between the Tanana River & Lost Lake, 57 miles South of Fairbanks on the Richardson Hwy. The camp has many new buildings including a dining hall for 200 people, a training center, and cabins with stoves.
MSC - Northern Lights High Adventure
This program is based out of Lost Lake Camp. Lost Lake sits along the Tanana River in the shadow of the Alaska Range, allowing easy access to some of the best wilderness in the last frontier. There are four specialty treks in all.
SEAC - Garnett Ledge
Located near Wrangell, access by boat only. This is a primitive tent sites. but U.S. Forest Service cabins nearby. Natural Garnett deposits on property, famous for Wrangell Garnetts.
SEAC - Goddard Hot Springs
Located near Sitka, access by boat or float plane only. It has tent sites and is located near historic natural hot springs
SEAC - Haines Scout Camp
Located near Haines on road network. This is operated by the Southeast Alaska Council
SEAC - Taku Harbor
Nine miles south of Juneau, Alaska. Access by boat or float plane only. Site was once owened by the Historic Hudson Bay Trading Company, offers many opportunities.
WAC - Last Frontier Adventure Base
Base is located in Chugach State Park at Camp Gorsuch. Program centers around Wilderness Backpacking, & COPE,
