BLACK WARRIOR - Camp Horne

BLACK WARRIOR - Camp Horne
Located in east Tuscaloosa County, Camp Horne is the main Council camp & is available for use year-round use. Camp Horne is a 488 acre facility which includes two lakes; rifle, archery, and shotgun ranges; an Olympic-size swimming pool, etc.
BLACK WARRIOR - Camp O'Rear
Camp O'Rear is a 90-acre Scout camp located in Jasper. It is owned and operated by the Black Warrior Council as a primitive-style facility. Camp O'Rear does have an old dining hall building (with one large room, one small room, kitchen & fireplace
BLACK WARRIOR - White Bluff Scout Reser.
The Black Warrior Council Camping Committee has approved the name of the new 169-acre camp in Demopolis. The Camp will be called White Bluff Scout Reservation. The name is derived from a prominent geographical feature along the Tombigbee River.
GAC - Camp Jack Wright
Camp Jack Wright is owned and operated by the Greater Alabama Council. The camp is 40 acres contiguous to the 1500-acre Tannehill State Park. Together they form a nature and historical preserve, great for weekend camping, hiking and other activities.
GAC - Camp Jackson Venturing Hi-Adv Base
This site details the many new High Adventure programs that the Greater Alabama Council have placed at this camp, which was formerly part of the Tennessee Valley Council. The camp has attracted a lot of attention including a cover story in Scouting Mag.
GAC - Camp Sequoyah
One of five camps of the Greater Alabama Council, Camp Sequoyah is nestled among 1,440 acres of woodlands in east central Alabama, near Cheaha State Park. The centerpiece of Sequoyah in its 80 acre lake. Also known as the Frank Spain Scout Reservation.
GAC - Camp Westmoreland
This 284 acre facility is located about 5 miles from Florence, Alabama. This camp, with its beautiful forest of hardwoods and pines, boarders Shoal Creek, one of the hottest recreation waterways in north Alabama. Operated by the Greater Alabama Council.
GAC - Comer Scout Reservation
This is a second older site with information from the 1996 Comer leader's guide back when the camp was operated by the Choccolocco Council
GAC - Comer Scout Reservation
This is the official web site for this camp of the Greater Alabama Council. The camp is located four miles south of historic Mentone, Alabama, on DeSoto Parkway. This 1,087 acre facility rests high atop Lookout Mountain in Dekalb County.
MAC - Camp Pushmataha
Camp Pushmataha is located in Citronelle, AL. It can be reached by taking either Highway 45 or Celeste Road. This camp is Mobile Area Council BSA property, a Local Permit must be filed in addition to the usual Local Tour Permit Application.
MAC - Maubila Scout Reservation
Maubila Scout Reservation is located between Jackson & Grove Hill AL and serves as the summer camp for the council. Maubila Scout Reservation is located on a 680 acre facility and has both a summer & winter camp.
TAC - Camp Tukabatchee
This is a camp specific website with history and information about all summer camping programs. This camp is a part of the Warner Scout Reservation which also includes Camp Dexter C. Hobbs.
TAC - Warner Scout Reservation
Warner Scout Reservation consists of approximately 1,000 acres of beautiful rolling hills overlooking two lakes that are excellent for fishing, swimming, and other aquatic activities. Warner Scout Reservation has Camp Dexter Hobbs & Camp Tukabatchee.
