We had a sort of swamp cooler in the car window. It was a cylinder about
8-10 inches in diameter and as long as the window was wide. Air would
rush through a hole in the front end, get cooled by water in the
cylinder, then discharge into the car.

I remember our Den Mother (no Den *Leaders* back then) letting us watch
Superman on her black and white TV after the den meeting was over. None
of us boys had TVs at home yet. We got ours in '58!

What about Studebaker, Packard, Hudson, Willys....?

I once bought 25 cents worth of candy. My buddy and I couldn't eat all of
it. Now, a nickle candy bar costs 75 cents!
