gear wars; Whisper Light Stoves

I have a Whisper Light stove which got initiated onour 50 Miler last week.
the stove works well, but I do not have enough skill to get anything other
than off or full boil settings. that aside, the stove is pretty nice.
question for those who have this stove; what do you use for a stove platform?
