Tax deductable cookies?

Hi scouters,
I was wondering if anyone could verify this information on GS cookies being
tax deductable and how do we turn the info in to the IRS? Do we need to
get a receipt from the girl scout for the number of boxes purchased?

The $2.19 that goes to the Girl Scouts is also tax deductible. As is
75% of the amount you pay Boy Scouts for wreaths and christmas trees.
