I'm probably one of the few people on this list that have actually been
defibrilated (9 times). I think we're getting a little carried away with this
thread. There isn't anyway to get out of this life without dying and no
amount
of money is going to change that. Since we can't make our events perfectly
safe, we are forced to settle for something less. It's just a matter of what.
With "standard of care" creep of this magnitude, we're not going to be able to
afford to go on any outings anyway. And who's going to carry the darn
thing up
that mountain? :)
