Civil Air Patrol and B.S.A. Exploring Division also have an agreement
wherein C.A.P. can be chartered as an Explorer Post to take advantage of
the Aviation Exploring Specialty. There are activities and events that
C.A.P. can't do but Explorers can, and conversely, C.A.P. cadets have
access to resources and activities that Explorers do not, so it is a very
good relationship.
Additionally, membership in Exploring opens up networking
and contacts with other Explorer Posts, Explorer Officer's Association,
National Exploring Leadership Conferences, Scholarships, and the Explorer
GOLD Award.
We have a C.A.P. Cadet Squadron/Explorer Post in our area that actively
participates in our annual Mock Disaster, Denver After Dark/Nightwatch,
and many other activities.
Best wishes..
