Re: official scout prayer

There's no official prayer, but many troops do use a Scout
benediction to end meetings. The version our troop uses is:
May the Great Master
Of all good Scouts
Be with us
Until we meet again
I have heard other troops use slight variations on the same.
Another suggestion to incorporate "A Scout is reverent" is to
have 30 seconds of silent prayer somewhere in the opening
ceremony. This emphasizes the importance of reverence upon the
Scouts without doing anything that could make them
uncomfortable. Any other creative ideas for promoting
reverence?
