Maybe I've been reading a different version of Scouting magazine, but I
thought that was what "Front Line Stuff" and other features did. The purpose
of the magazine is after all program support for scouters. It addresses
problems those scouters might run into in the every day implementation of the
program. It is not meant to be a scholarly journal on the philosophical and
theoretical underpinnings of the scout movement.
The IBM house organ is not obligated to print anti-IBM material and neither
should Scouting be expected to provide a forum for program critics.
