First, let your SCOUTS determine what will compose the "Night Out". To
them, it could take the form of a night at a movie theater; to others,
it may be a all-night diner on a weekend night (Sunday's better to do
this; Saturday night is "party night" in many communities and I wouldn't
want to expose my Scouts to some potentially nasty things); or it may
just be videos and popcorn in the basement of the church.

Let THEM decide if this is something they want to do, and within reason
let them decide the format.

One thing I've read that a Patrol did is to have a "roving party", starting
at the home of their Patrol Leader, and then over the night, moved from home
to home and back to the PL's home, whereby everyone "sacked out" for the day.
I don't know if this can be done within the BSA's YPP guidelines, but it sure
sounded like a lot of fun otherwise.
