I'm back!

Hi Everyone!

One mass note to thank everyone and to let you know that I've re-joined you all
here! My thanks to my wife whom was sending me "stuff that you might want
to read about" during my absence and allowing me to access her account while
I was
in and out.

While things did not go as well as we all expected it, it was a good period of
time and the *present plans* call for me to go back to active duty again
sometime later on. I was told by the folks with the command that I'm on the
list for deployables, and they've had some folks to make it to Fort Dix, New
Jersey only to be sent back home because they couldn't pass the physical.
In those cases, they try to get "subs" to take their places.

I'm happy to finally be back so that now Jessica can stop trying to read and
understand each and every posting to the groups.

I've already asked for the "extracts" from those groups that archive them, so
give me some time, and I'll be back up to speed. (Actually, I have been back
since the holiday, but I waited until the weekend so that I can catch up on
personal mail that I couldn't answer there, along with USENET mail that I
could answer and finally some Geoworks issues (new company taking over the
sales of
Geoworks desktop products) to deal with.

Thanks for your individual and family prayers and for not forgetting about
all of the military folk that had to endure slime and mud to make things
happen there...
