Dear Jim,
One suggestion for an opening for the Blue and Gold. I once used a
ceremony written for Eagle, "The Voice Of The Eagle" and changed it to "The
Voice Of Akela". An adult hid behind a curtian with a microphone and narrated
a boys journey through Cub Scouting. A tiger would began acting out taking
his Tiger pledge, playing games and discovering new things. He left stage
right and a wolf entered who acted out earning his bobcat, building his
pinewood car, and reading his wolf book. He exited the stage and a Bear
entered and acted out his actvities, followed by a Webelo who rolled out his
sleeping bag for the first time. Through it all, Akela narrated what the
scouts were doing.
E-mail if you have any questions.
