Book Title Request

Hi all,

As a child I read a series of books - and I would like to locate them for
my son. They were a kind of autobiographical fiction. The author was
writing of his childhood memories of his adventures with his brothers.

I would like to find out what the authors name was and the name of the
books...

My memories are:
The family lived in Utah - although not Morman
When one child got sick (eg measels), the mother would stick them all in
bed together so they all got it.
The littlest brother (who was the author) would never get a sickness first
- and so would be in bed while his older brother was free to go out
again...making him pretty upset...one time he got a sickness first...
I think there was a brother called Seth
the kids were pretty embarrassed when their father installed the first
indoor flushing toilet in their home
lots of hair-brained adventures and money making scams...

Pretty poor recollection huh - but maybe someone could help me.

Thanks,
Victor.
