Howdy everyone.
I just got back from AMR in Alameda and had a great time. It was
worth the twelve hour drive. I have never seen so many Sea Scouts in my
life. It makes me feel like this program is going strong. If any of you
who have not gone are able, definitely go. It is well worth it.
I wanted to thank the Crew of the Chaser for their hospitality and
good food, as well as the crew of the Liberty for putting us up for the
night in the "Hot Tub Suite." :) Also thanks to Skipper Rekart of the
SSS Oregon for dragging me along.
I learned some things that we can do at Norwester Regatta to improve
it and make it better. We will defintely be back next year, and
hopefully be bringing a combined crew from the Oregon Trail Fleet with
us.
