US Sailing Certifications

It was nice to see John Nesbit from SSS 603 and Davis Jones from Ship
1492 come forward with the info that they have a keelboat cert. Both
Alphonse de Alligator and I are US Sailing level 1 small boat sailing
instructors and as such attended the San Diego meeting with Roy.
Attending (as mentioned) was a great group of Sea Scout leaders
including Charles Holmes, the new Director of Venturing at the National
office, Jimmie Homberg, National Commodore, Capt Jim Umberger and many
others. It would be of great value to both the Sea Scouting National
committee and US Sailing if there was a current list available of all
Sea Scout leaders who hold US Sailing certifications. I would like to
request this information be posted on the net so that it would get wide
distribution. Please be sure that this info also gets to all the info
addresses on this posting "Off net" Thanks

renewing various "Underwater" certs with the Navy.
