Program building

As a new district commissioner, I am looking for information on how to
build some programs that will help draw together all the disparate elements
of Venturing/Exploring. To date, our Firematics, Police Explorers, Sea
Scouts, and other units have all gone their individual ways. Do you not
feel it would be helpful to bring all the leaders of these programs
together at the district/council level in something similar to a
<Roundtable> situation? Venturing is a Scouting program available in many
of the English-speaking countries of the world. Those I know of are:
Canada, Great Britain, South Africa, and Australia. I believe that this
list-serv has an international audience. If anyone out there in
CyberScoutLand can lead me to literature, or info on how to build a program
for the district/council level, please drop me a personal e-mail. YIV,
