Many of you will have an interest in lighthouses, coastal beacons, etc. The
Commissioners of Irish Lights are responsible for lighthouses and all
navigational aids around the coasts of Ireland, North and South.
Interesting facts in the history of lighthouses, including the oldest
lighthouse in Ireland and Great Britain, will be found on their web site at
