Fellow Sea Scouters:
Well, I feel like I've just gotten a Herculean task off my shoulders.
I've been promising myself (and many of you personally) that I'd get a page
of historic Sea Scouting insignia up on the Sea Scouts, BSA web site
<http://www.seascout.org>. Well, it's up, finally. You can either follow
the links from "Historic Sea Scouting insignia", or point your browser
directly at <http://www.seascout.org/about/program/insignia.html>. I
apologize that the page currently shows principally insignia from the
1925-48 era, but the post 1948-era insignia is more generally available.
(Also, this page took about 6 hours of scanning and another 3 hours of
coding ... to please be patient.)
Enjoy! If anyone has anything from the pre-Sea Exploring era (before
1949) that they would care to share, please contact me offlist.
