New Ship on the Block

Actually Ship 1 has been around for about 10 years. We have 12 active
members this year and two sailing auxillaries, a 1968 Bristol 27 "SEA
FOX"(Ladies Boat) and a 1967 (plug for the mold) Easterly 30 "Sea Wolf"
affectionately know as" The PIT" or as you guessed the gentlemens boat.
Activities include attending Navy Damage control School, Fire Fighting
with local Fire protection Disrict teaching sailing, helping local
charities, trying to stay alive in Lasers, getting wet and cold and
taking overnights. Ship 1 is sponsored by Tammany Yacht Club which is
located in the Oak Harbor Marina, Slidell LA.
