It seems that one of the biggest devils at roundtable is the speaker who
just runs on. When folks ask to address the group we tell them to bring a
handout with their information and limit their announcement to three
minutes. I guess that for some of them their battery in the Belltone is
dead. They show up with no handout and just run on and on. We've tried
timers with bells, pointing at our watches etc. Short of dragging them
off by the scruff of their neck, some folks don't know when to quit. On
some you just have to walk up and basically say, thanks for the info and if
anyone has question, talk to 'X' after the meeting.
What do you do to control those speakers who ought to take a spoon of
Immodium before they open their mouth at roundtable?
