Thanks for all the advice and comments on this issue. At the Committee
meeting this evening they decided to buy a couple for leaders to use for
communication on the road and at camp.
But I have a second, related question. As some of you know, I am one of
the Bay Lakes Council's Jamboree Scoutmasters. Would walkie-talkies be
useful at Jamboree? At our last staff meeting one of our ASMs suggested
them and another said no, we didn't need them. I'm in the middle but
leaning towards taking them. What do you think?
