<This release was sent to me by a committee member of mine. What does the
list
make of this? JM>

Well, it's been in the news for a day or 2 but of more interest to me is
the web site that is noted, "Family Research Council". What a nice sounding
name for an organization! They sound like they have my families interests
at heart.

I spent a few minutes reading through their archive of anti government, anti
United Nations, anti China, anti Clinton, pro Christian, pro Tobacco, pro
life, homophobic press releases. Gee, I didn't know family issues were so
broad, if I didn't know better I'd suspect this was some kind of soft money
organizations with links to the rightest of the right wing.

"Ignoring the rule of law, the Clinton Administration appears to be readying
a shocking attack on the Boy Scouts," the head line reads. That's
interesting, not so far from Houston several area high schools plan to hold
public prayer before this weekends football games. I wonder if the FRC
plans a press relaease suggesting they are ignoring the rule of law?
