I talked with my DE concerning this about a year ago. He told me
the exact same thing; designating UW contributions to go to our council will
not increase the amount of money that the council
receives.

I wonder what would happen if, say, 80% of all United Way
contributors designated that their donations should be directed
to BSA.

I can dream, can't I?
