At our troop's next court of honor, we have several adult awards to present.
Our philosophy is to present them in front of the boys and parents; we want
them to see their leaders working and improving the program for the boys.
Adults awards are always presented first, so the emphasis is on the boys.
Most, if not all, court of honor "scripts" have things to do for boys, but
precious little for adults. We have 4 awards to present: scouter's
training, two adult religious awards (On My Honor) and scoutmaster award of
merit. Does anyone have any suggestions for presenting these awards,
besides "here, nice job" and moving on to the boys? Or the ubiquitous
"here's what Mr. So-and-so did to finish this..."?
Thanks,
JAC
