Troop 95 from Los Banos on the west side of the Central Valley of
California has a great opportunity for an 18 yr-old or older
Scouter to do one of those once-in-a-lifetime backpacking trips: a
Trans-Sierra trek that will take place Aug 3rd through Aug 10th.
This trip has been planned for some time, but due to unforeseen
circumstances, is in need of the second adult.
This trip will be an amble up the Mono Creek drainage, over the
12000 foot spine of the magnificent Sierra Nevadas, and down into
Rock Creek area, with ample time to enjoy the wonderful settings
with side trips to the numerous lakes along the route. Some time
in Yosemite National Park is planned on the return to trip.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and if you can
spread it to whatever Scouting lists/networks that you have access
to, it would be appreciated.

Please respond via email to me at mailto:mmm@troop94.org or leave
a message for Jim Doyle, the trip organizer, at (209) 826-4409.

Thanks,
Mike Montoya
